Need some help!!!!!!! Back zoom settings

Hey Everyone,

What is the sweetest backzoom setting for the dvx100b using a M2 adapter.? I believe I am zoom too far out on my adapter which causes vingetting (spelling?). Searched for an answer with no luck. Just a little help please. Want to zoom in enough without sacraficing focus quality.

my backfocus is set at 36. My zoom is between 76 and 82. most people say to set it at 82 with a back focus of 34. But this really depends on your mounting position. I never hardmounted my adapter. but I recomend it just because your adapter will always be in the same place. I marked my rails so i know exactly where to put it.

Ok here's the official peoples ruling on the Redrock Micro 100B forum.

Z82 to 85 for 4:3

Z75 to 76 for Letterbox

With a backfocus setting between 34 and 36.

like I said It really depends on the mounting position of the adapter and the distance between the Achromat and the Adapter.
