Need some help asap!

I am shooting a race scene tomorrow... ala Fast and the Furious... Any tricks or tips to make it feel fast without making the drivers go 100 mph? Any help would be appreciated... thanks!

i'd say shoot in a high shutter speed, it gives it kinda that choppy look, like saving private ryan.
also, maybe just watch fast and the furious and study their shots, try the best you can to match their style?

Any shot from the moving vehicle to the outside will look much faster if the camera is looking at 90 degrees from the direction of travel, i.e. straight out the side window.

Also, having outside things as close to the side of the car as possible (guard rails, shrubbery, walls, whatever) will make it look like it's going faster.

Shake the camera in CUs. You'd be amazed at what this does. In Fast and Furious I'm sure they added a lot of camera jitter in post. You can do this in either production or post, or both.
