I know, I know, its been a long time since I posted here and this one has nothing to do with the DVX but i gotta tell you this cause I'm excited. The previous night I was fooling around in one of the online casinos while doing some Vegas 5 editing and I deposited $50 and got $200 in bonus. Anyway I'm not gonna tell which casino cause people might mistake me for spamming. Anyway after some boring 1 hour and 15 minutes of clicking in the slots a weird sound occured and oh Sh#t! As soon as I checked i didnt even understand the combination but my account rose to $2300. I panicked! ( looks like a new HVX200 is coming my way). I finished off the wagering requirement and ended up with a solid $2012. Whew, so what should I do? Either take the money and enjoy ( because it's still short for an HVX200 purchase) or take $1000 gamble it in twenty more different casinos(at $50 deposit each, so I can take each bonus) gamble till I can afford the damn camera, pocket the other $1000 (make a small project or just spend it all) and that's it! $50 investment only and three hours of heart pounding action. What do you think?

Gambling is fueled by thrill seeking, would you agree? If I encourage you to stop, you keep going thinking you outsmart us all. So, I'm not going to do that. Quit while you're "ahead." You need help before you lose everything you have. And, if you believe it's your excellent skills that have gotten you where you are now, think again. The game is rigged in your favor in the beginning. The idea of cashing out and going to another online casino makes sense until you discover they are all owned by the same offshore criminals; they will know you're just switching dealers. Online casinos are shadier than Brooklyn camera stores.....

Some how my faith in online casinos is not as strong as yours - I have troubble believing that it is legit. But lets say that it is - TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN! It can get you some nice accessories, a nice vacation, or allow you to pay some good actors for you next short film. Anyway, gambling is a game and you should never play with money you can't afford to loose. If you are ok with loosing it all - then take your chances and continue. But realize that the House is going to win. Casinos are a business just like any other they would not be around if it was not profitable - and they get their profit from people who don't get out while they're ahead.

Quit while you're ahead. Put the money in a savings account for your HVX. Save it for a rainy day. You got lucky. :)

Fool.

My brother has a weekly budget for his gambling. I tell him "Why don't you invest that money in an IRA or your 401K?"

Like most fools he can't be told or given advice. I don't mind an 'every once in awhile' trip Vegas or the Races for some fun and games but if it's something you do regulary as entertainment?

Gambling is for fools.

At the end of this story SOMEBODY will be laughing all the way to the bank. I'll bet you'll just be pissed. But, then again, I'm not a betting man. Heck, I don't even care about you, period.

The house is betting you'll stick around and lose.....Outsmart the buggers, grab the cash and run like a rabbit from a hound.......Do it NOW!!!!!

I don't gamble but the whole online casino thing has to have created some wonderfully rich hackers by now...

I've put a $100 on the Pistons second half and, I'm still thinking about cutting that $1000 budget to half, so maybe $500 ( split in poker and casino), i just won that money anyway.

My wife works at a casino, in the marketing department. the casino makes more money than they pay out. waaaaay more money than they pay out. duh. that's why they're profitable! quit while you're ahead. in fact, if you spend $20 and play for 2 hours and break even, well you had a good time for 2 hours, didn't you.

take the money and run. beat the system!

Dude ... put it all on number 8. I mean, 7. No, wait ... definitely put it on number 4. Yep, 4. i think.

John has some solid counsel. Look into a mutual fund or ETF (exchange traded fund). It's not like the crack high you get from gambling, but it's a bit (just a bit) less risky than gambling...and you just might have enough to get the HVX in September. No wait, October. Okay, definitely December. I think.

Rock on with your bad portfolio bruva!

Im not a serious gambler, just that one time, out of curiosity. got nothing to lose from my own pocket. Go Pistons!
