Being retired but loving video, I have recently created a long arc documentary concept for a 501C3 organization. I am doing this Pro Bono using all of my own equipment, and have most of the releases I think I'll need. The subject is a Big Cat sanctuary and I might or might not be able to have a second camera operator. I will be using two Gx8's, and lens from 7.5mm to 100-400 (as you can guess I don't want to get close to the Stars of this documentary). Will also be using a Mavix drone . Project will be done in 4K and down rezed to 1080P for Youtube. Main focus is education and fund raising. All on sceen people will be real workers (this is not a scripted reality show) with some voice over (Mics and separate recorders)with original music. Segments lengths will be 3 to 7 minutes with the intention of integration into longer documentaries. I am looking for thoughts that can be used in a finalized report to the board and major donors along with a proof of concept segment. Any and all advice welcomed. Most of my commercial experience has been in commercials and one long running professional infomercial - nothing like the scope and shooting environement of this project The GX8's and 12-35 & 100-400 are "weather proof" for incliment weather filming.
