I shot a concert over the weekend. 1 Canon XF-100 (MXF files) 1 Canon HFM31 (MTS files) and 2 Canon HV30's (.m2t files). All the same recording rates. I will be mixing them. Since 2 are .m2t files would it be better to save a copy of the other 2 cams as .m2t before I mix? What would be the best format to save for my final version? I'm looking for the best quality overall. From there I will worry about distribution. Thanks for any input! Cheers.

Pick whichever editor you plan on using and ask there. I use Final Cut so my answer would be to transcode everything to ProRes and then edit those. Premiere might be able to handle all those files natively, depending on your computer...
