Need some advice

I'm thinking about selling my dvx-a and wondering what a fair price would be for it. I know i won't get as much as I paid for it but was hoping to turn to you guys and see what you would pay for a dvx in mint condition (6 months old).

The only thing that has to be sold with it is the 5 year warranty since I can't sell it seperate. But if they need a good tripod, shotgun mic, or lighting kit I could cut them an awesome deal.

p.s. The only reason I am selling it is because I am having a lot of success with my writing and hoping to go that direction.

They hold their value really well – Take a peek on eBay and you’ll see they go for a good price. I would put it up there and also sell the toys separately. If you didn’t want to sell it on eBay at least you can see what they go for.

Forget dakotaprod's lowball offer. I'd easily go $550, maybe even $600... ;D

(plus I'd throw in a well-used DVX100 in the bargain)

500 whole dollars? :P. I really don't want to part with this but i'm planning a move to la and could use the extra savings money.

I want to try and sell it to a deserving filmmaker not someone who will just buy it cause they have the money. I'm not trying the make the most money possible just enough.

I need a good shotgun mic. The only things available here are Ponysonic's, Filips, and something called "Penheisser". What kind of shotgun mic is it and could you give me a good deal on it, since it's for a REALLY good cause. :)
