Need small LCD screen...

ok i find myself needing a small lcd screen that is battery powered.

quality isn't the highest priority.

i need it for my crane and another thing i'm building where it isn't practical to see the camera's lcd screen well.

it should be at least 5 inches and have a decent connection point ie. 1/4 20 or 3/8ths.

a battery that lasts long and has a sturdy connection method would be nice too.

any suggestions?

well i wasn't in a hurry or anything but just didn't feel like doing a ton of research.

the varizoom one looked good enough, resolution is secondary, ease of installation was pretty important and their model takes a 1/4 20 so thats great for me.

i have one of those 3 wheel baby strollers that are big with people who run with their rug rats.

i took a matthews grip head and clamped it on one of the side poles and put a 5/8" pole off of that and then i'll be putting the varizoom lcd on a 1/4 20 micro head from www.filmtools.com

the lcd is simply so i can monitor the picture framing.

it will also be great for my crane and also useful on my car mount when the setup doesn't let you see the lcd safely.

i have a sony gv-800 but its a little bit delicate to be clamping down on a moving widget, plus it doesn't have a tripod mount.
