Need Recommendations for a 32" Studio Monitor

I have a small green screen studio and currently using a Samsung 32" HD TV as a reference monitor. The problem is I am using lots of lights and the screen does not do well in very bright environments. Samsung has a new model (Q60A 32" Class HDR 4K UHD Smart QLED TV) coming out soon and I am being told by B&H it will have 1000 nits. Would this do the job, just need a clear reference feed in the studio. I am open to suggestion including pc monitors if they are a good option. Screen size needs to be 32" as the wall space does not allow larger and I prefer not to go smaller. Thanks

How are you defining "reference monitor"? Generally that means color and luminance accurate which consumer high-nit monitors won't deliver on. Those are fine for generally evaluating the image and/or checking the comp etc.

A true reference monitor still requires a protected enivronment to properly evaluate, which is why I have my own cart with 25" Sony A250 that I can shade or flag from direct light.
