Need new internal mount for base plate

I suspect it is merely the female version of a 3/8ths screw, but where can I get it and is it difficult to replace?

Does anyone know the part number for a DVX100?

Some guys have these. I've been contemplating the one with the new tripod mount as i have the same problem you do with the cracked mount point.
