Need iMac Advice

I am considering purchasing an iMac 20-inch 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo for editing footage from an XH A1 with FCP studio 2.0.

Does anyone have experience editing with these machines? Should I be on the look out for certain issues once I begin editing with an iMac?

My iMac was the best investment i have made, far more stable than a windows system. I have a intel imac 2.1 with 2.5gb RAM it edits HD fine. Struggles a bit if i add filters, but thats to be expected.

As far as FCS 2, i heard that FCP6 has some bugs but they are being fixed as they go. I'm still on 5.1, about to upgrade.
 
If you're going to spend money on a new mac, get the the one you mentioned or the beastly one, 24" 2.8Ghz, 500 GB HDD, 2GB RAM. AMAZING!!
