I have an entire structure/story/ and character arc laid out for this short story I am working on. In the story the main character is on a blind date with a crazy girl. She is hyper, drinks, smokes, steals, etc... and they are both 18-19 years old.
What I am lacking are some minor events within the big story plot points. These are simply the first few incidents where the boy questions whether he should leave or continue the date.
So here is the question... what would a relatively attractive girl have to do to get you to consider that she might be wrong for you.
The plot point I already have in which he makes his on-screen "final decision" to stay or leave...is when she is about to steal a car and wants him to go with her. I need events leading up to this moment which will make him wonder about her, but not have to make the final decision to stay or leave. The location is the Santa Monica pier and surrounding beach area. Thanks!
lol I hope I just made sense. Thanks!
If you want a good example of this, remember the "30 rock" episode with Jennifer Aniston? She is the crazy girl who steals the cops gun, gives it to her date, and screams "he's got a gun!"
haha think along those lines but not THAT crazy! You can't go over grand theft auto, which is the characters point of no return. Think wild, but nothing disgusting... you know? She is wild, dangerous, and crazy, but very attractive and desirable visually. She is the reckless youth, and he is the 'normal' teen.
Thanks!
