dear dvx100 users... im wondering coz i just shot a video on the dvx100 100 and im in the midst of editing and i shot it on 25frame / 24frame cine mode in squeeze...is it much more advisable to use a dvx100 100 or could i just used a normal consumer camera? does it make any visible difference or not? sorry i just started learning to edit...

Do you have PAL or NTSC DVX100?
You can't shoot at 24 and 25Fps with one DVX!
If you have DVX - shoot with DVX.

IT IS MUCH MORE ADVISABLE TO USE DVX100 OR HVX200 AND NOTHING ELSE :)
 
Once recorded digitally, the device you use for capture generally does not make a difference. Most people use their DVX to shoot, and a cheaper consumercam or an edit deck to capture.
