I use Speed Edit.

can someone please explain to me how to render a time line to be burned to a dvd. My timeline renders, but will not burn to dvd

Ive tries everything.....every format...all i want to do is burn a dvd copy...do I need a special burning software?

as it is what i have to do is export the entire film to a dv tape, then BACK into my dvd burning software, then I can burn a dvd.

this takes twice as long...it stinks

what do I need to do?

SpeedEdit is good for speedy editing. You cannot burn a DVD directly from the timeline. Render a MPEG 2 file. Use a DVD software application to convert and burn the MPEG 2 file.

Sorry if that is not what you expected. You might try the NewTek user board for these questions because you will get faster responses to SpeedEdit questions.
