Hi all
January '09 will find me in the bayous south of New Orleans shooting a kayaking flyfishing project. Very much looking forward to this.
I'll be road tripping down there from Madison, WI. I think this road trip could provide some nice supporting material for the main movie. I've been trying to come up with an idea for some webisodes that could provide some support for the main kayaking flyfishing project theme using material I shoot as I make my road trip from north to south.
And that is where I am stuck. My idea muscles have been cramping up pretty bad lately. Our first bayou destination is almost exactly DUE SOUTH of Madison, WI., which suggests a webisode theme having something to do with "Due South".
I'm a small town northern boy who has never ventured this far south before, which could suggest something thematic. Notions I'm chewing on include humor, fishing, boating, going from snow and winter into a southern climate, maybe staying off freeways and trying to do something like a travelogue showing my route from north to south?
My light bulb moment has not arrived yet. What comes to mind for all you creatives out there?
