Need help with QT render setting

Hi all.

I need to render to QT for a customer, using vegas8, what are the best settings to use?

I have rendered out the files as uncompressed but they are far to big, I need to FTP them to a customer overseas, I however live in SA which means that to upload the 16gig file will cost me about $500 and take prop a day or two.

The DV avi. files are about 1.6gigs which is way better. how can I get the same size and quality in QT.

Need help asap as I need to start the upload.

Go to the drop down box and try the 3Mps settings for .mov. If it needs to be widescreen change the aspect size to project settings. Set to progressive if so also. Just read through the menu of items under the video tab and see what works best with the smallest file.

I assume you can get it there, but a www.yousendit.com account is pretty cheap way to get files around.
