So a while ago I bought a green screen kit, it turns out I don't need it other then the green material to put on a wall, so my question was if I could turn the stands into stands to mount lights on? Heres the link to the green screen kit I bought I just need to know what I need to buy to put a light on the stand, also what kind of light would work I don't think it can be to have because they are aluminum stands.

Thanks In Advance

The should have a 5/8 stud on the top which is standard for smaller light. . One word of caution with the stands imported from Asia that I have seen, they barely hold a BG up. Putting something bigger than a Lowell Tota may be too much for them.

Agreed. There are some real cheap and flimsy stands out there. It's not worth the savings if you end up with an expensive light taking a digger due to the fact your stand couldn't support the weight. Even sandbags don't really save the cheap stands either

Anything Arri / Mole is going to need a decent light stand to support the weight.
