Hi
I have a film that I shot at 25p on the DVX. It is 100% progressive.
If I play the film in a progressive timeline I get strange wavy fluctuating lines on some horizontals.
If I set the timeline to interlaced I get no wavy lines (and no obvious signs of interlacing at 100%)
I just set the timeline to progressive and mostly everything looks great except for a few shots which have the wavy line problem. I then exported a single frame as a TIFF and there is no wavy line problem (it looks exactly like the image I see in an Interlaced sequence.
See this link for a screen dump of the Final Cut window (the added effects aren't the problem as the source footage has the same issue
See this link for the exported TIFF from the above sequence
Exporting the movie to a QuickTime H.264 or DVD produces the problem unless I go to Interlaced...What do I do???
Thanks
Bruce
