need help with marketplace

Hi admin,

I contacted a user called Dafilman21 in oder to purchase an item he put on marketplace, an aputure dec wireless follow focus.
Later, I received the item from him in US.
But the wireless adapter didn't work so I had to send it back for refund.
After that, he is unreachable. I sent him multiple e-mails from time to time. But he hasn't contacted back to me about refund for about a month.

If there's anything I can do, please let me know.

That is surprising. I looked at his profile and he has been an active member since 2006. He has no buying/selling comments but lots of posts. I would try again and let him know this is affecting his reputation. Has he made any posts after you sent the product back? A while back, I had serious medical problems that took me off the grid for months.

Maybe someone on this forum actually knows this fellow!
 
He sent me back a reply after i sent it back, saying that he'll send back refund after he gets it, but that was the end of July. He should have got it back by now, shouldn't he?
If it were his medical problem or he were on filming or vacation that took him away from any e-mailing, he should've told me when he could make a contact next time.
If I were him, I'd do that.
 
Yaz, at this point, I would be furious! I looked on the web for "Dafilman21" and found the guy on several forums. The latest post attributed to him was 7-27-17.
Perhaps our moderator/administrator will give you Dafilman21's real name. I am still a Licensed Private Investigator and it you could give me his real name, I might be able to help. What name and address were used on the shipments?

I just looked at his selling feedback. it looks like someone else had the similar problem with him...

Yup...that the asshole. And the item he claim he never got backk end up selling on eBay under his handle name a month later.

I WARNED EVERYONE ALREADY.

Yaz, do a search on eBay for your lens both in "for sale" and in "completed". If you can find your lens, contact Ebay and let them know that the dick wad is selling stolen property!
