Hi, I'm a newbie at FCPX and decided to edit my latest short on it. I love most everything about it except this is the first time I've had to manually sync my audio and video. I marked my slates on video / audio clips brought them into the timeline, matched slates and my clip is synched. Tedious but I got that done. Now's I'm left with my entire film's synched clips on the timeline. How do i start editing. I'm used to viewing clips to cut from on the browser or bin (fcp7). I can mark, grade, etc, make my in/out and bring it in.
Now with all the synch on the timeline, it'll be a nightmare going back and forth between clips and shuffling footage around if it's all on the same timeline. Is there any secret technique for organizing these timeline clips as a source (like browser or bins) that I can cut into another fresh timeline. In short, can timeline clips somehow be imported into the browser? As it is right now, I'm stuck. With all my footage on the timeline at once, I'm at a loss as how to organize and cut this.
Any suggestions would be timely and most appreciated. And please refrain from snarky crap like "try Avid,...". I really want to see what this program can do.
Thanks
