Hey everyone. I bought the K-Tek Avalon KE-110CCR from B&H Photo/Video and I'm having trouble getting the collars to lock the sections in place so they don't slide back. I just took it out of the packaging and haven't even used it yet. Can somebody tell me how you're supposed to lock each collar? I thought you just extended the pole and rotate the collar to the right until it tightens but, they don't seem to tighten and the sections of the pole don't stay in place! Is my brand new boom pole broken right out of the bag or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.
