Need help with Letus mini lens

Okay, I just purchased a Letus Mini and a Canon HV30. It came with a Nikon lens mount but all my 35 mm lens are Canon except for a really nice new 18-200 mm VR Nikon lens that I got for my D80.

So my question, with the VR Nikon, will the the VR work? I'm assuming no because there is no power to the lens.

Q2: Does anyone have experience and could tell me what size lens will work best for DOF film.... maybe better phrases... would any one lens work better than another maybe have more light, less vignetting, etc, I just need some recommendations before I spend all day messing around with the stuff.

My old Canon lens are the 50 mm, 28 mm fixed, and a 70-300 zoom. These are the old FD lens that Canon made back in the 80s. Would I be best to just get a Canon lens mount for the Letus and go with those lens?

thanks, if anyone there can shed some light.

Go with the canon mount. It looks like you've already got a good start on a set. 50mm and 28mm are typically used on adapters. Other Primes (fixed) such as 24mm, 100mm, etc. as well. The zoom might give you some grief depending upon it's fstop in lower light situations. Wide lenses and some zooms might give you a bit of vignetting.
