Need help with DVD covers...! -:)

Hi, all.

I'm trying to finish my DVD covers, but this clearly is over something that I'm capable of. So, I'm asking that could someone help me with making this picture look more better and real...I just don't know what to do anymore.

Here you can find the player layers and the ground-texture that I have been using...I think it's great after some manipulation...feel free to download it from here:

Here's capture from my own front page...I'm after that "Lost" style...I would like to have something like this...the blue is the main color and would like to also have the lightning. I just have no idea how to "marry" the players with the ground and so on...of course I can add the text layers...I "just" need the picture...

My DVD-front cover dimensions are: 129,5mm x 183mm.

Everything else in the covers is ready but this...please help me. I want to see what you guys are capable of. :beer:

ive d/l'd the layers, but first off... i would say that you have made your characters way too blue... that seems to be the one thing that really holds your cover back. humans don't look like that! =)
 
Thanks for the reply, thekyleman71. I totally agree, I think also that the characters are too blue and bright also...they look so unnatural now...:huh:

Can't wait to see what you are able to do with this. :)

What do you think, should the sky also be added somehow with the lightning? Maybe it would be easier to "marry" players with ground then...
