Need help using compressor!

Well I have something that I want to stream on my website.
It's shot in HD, edited with FCP, looks great on DVD, but when
I send it to compressor to make a compressed version of it for
streaming, it pulls into a 4:3 when it's 16:9.
How do I stop this, or change the settings?

I uploaded a quicktime to myspace video and it looked fine
But you tube did the same 4:3 pull.

What do I do? or is there another way to get a quicktime
file ready for streaming on my website in 16:9?

Compressor's web preset are 4:3 by default. Once you apply a preset, go to the Geometry tab in the Inspector and change the Frame Size drop down menu to 16:9 and whatever final output dimensions you want (for example, 480x270).

Also, unless you're actually using a Quicktime streaming server (Quicktime Streaming Server or Darwin Streaming Server), outputting using the Streaming presets will not make a difference and you should use the regular Download presets as these settings optimize the video for fast start, progressive downloading.
