Need help setting up some B-roll shots

This might be just way too vague a question to ask on a forum but hopefully someone can help.

I need to shoot some b-roll for a feature I did last summer. I just want to use my Canon 7D and the light provided by the locations where I need to get coverage.

Some locations I need to shoot are a night club in full party motion, a resturant with patrons eating and a couple of exteriors. No movie lights or anything.

The lenses I have at my disposal are:

Pentax 28mm 2.8
Pentax 50mm 1.4
Pentax 135mm 2.0
Sigma 14mm 3.5
Canon 24-135mm kit lens (doubt I'll use this)

I do have a colorist but I plan on shooting specific items to help match the scenes better, like pouring drinks at a bar for the transition rather than people dancing in an obviously darker lit club.

Any idea what kind of settings you'd use on the camera? Arpeture settings? I tried contacting my original DP but can't reach him (he's on location on another project). I'd like to try shooting this myself first before I have to resort to more drastic measures. I'm thinking that the 50mm 1.4 would be the lens to use because of it's arpeture size but if there's a way to use the 14mm 3.5 I'd like to hear suggestions.

When we shot we kept the iso at 250-300 but I'll obviously have to bump that up, I'd just like to make sure I don't get grain.

Any help, I'd appreciate it.

... There's no such thing as B-Roll in film.. Coverage... haha sorry I'm not trying to be "That Guy" but that's one of my pet peeves.

Sorry I meant to help you out in that last message...
First off, keep in mind that the 7D provides a cropped image so make sure that you are ready to deal with that accordingly.
Really, I rely on my 1.8 zeiss 50mm for almost everything unless I need a macro focus. Really it just matters on the shot..
I would highly suggest that instead of using your slower lenses and bumping ISO up you retain the same ISO from your original footage (the grain will match waaay better) and then just adjust your aperture accordingly.. Obviously this isn't going to give you a ton of depth if you have a lot of moving action and you have to shoot at 1.4.... Just get a good focus puller ;-)

Hope that answers your questions!!

Thanks Wade.

I figured as much. I'm also using the Marvel Cine settings, plus I've been looking at a couple of youtube channels. Particularly "Eyepatch entertainment(?)" He's got a tutorial about doing shoots in low light. I think I might buy one of those cheap LED hot shoe lights (knock off Litepanels version) and maybe add some color correct to help high light/add light to any "coverage" ;-) I want to get. Can you think of anything else? I'm looking to get this coverage in March so I want to spend the next couple weeks practicing. I took it out for a try this past weekend and the coverage was full of grain. I did bump up the ISO and realized that consequences of doing such. I will try again this weekend. Looking online for custom settings people have used.
