Need Help rewiring a Desisti Leonardo 1K

So - I got this one off eBay with no plug - and instead of the standard white, black and green, I've got blue, brown and yellow/green ... my local electrician friend is stumped. Anyone have a clue as to which one is +, - and ground?

(details - Desisti Leonardo 1000W Fresnel - EGT 1K globe)

Otherwise I have to crack it open and follow the leads ... help?!?

Do you have a multi tester? The safest thing to do would be to confirm the suspicion that red is hot blue is common and green yellow is ground.

Here in Brazil, yellow/green is always the ground wire, in all electrical appliences.

This is the standard color coding in many 220v countries. The green yellow is always ground, the blue is usually neutral and the brown is the hot wire.
