need help please!!

so i just finished a project that i must mail out today as a submission into a film festival.

i render out the video and audio seperately.

but when i burned a dvd the audio and video is out of sync by just a little bit.

how do i fix this?

Make sure your project properties's audio Khz value is the same as DVDs require it. If it still happens, then export using an intermediate codec instead (with both A/V in it), and then re-encode the final mpeg2 file with DVDA instead of Vegas.
