I have a buddy of mine that wants to shoot a reality tv show pilot. I am the person that will be doing the filming, he will be the one looking over my shoulder. I will also be the one editing it, with him looking over my shoulder. He is writing out the script. There is no money for this production. I have all the equipment, cameras, mics, and editing gear.*
I really want to get some sort of contract going that this is a joint effort, if it gets picked up by a network that I get a percentage. What is a good way to go about doing this. I really don't have the money to pay some big time lawyer to write up a contract. What all needs to be included in the contract?*
What do I need to look out for before I jump I to something like this.*
I personally like the aspect of filming, and editing, but now that I am turning my passion into a business im being thrown curve balls here, any help is much appreciated.*
