OK. Here I am with my HD camera (hvx200), my HD editing system (FCP HD 5.1.1), and my brand new HD monitor (sanyo 32"). Now all I need is to be able to view my stuff in true High Def!!!
From what I've read, I will need to purchase either the AJA card or Blackmagic's DeckLink. Does anyone use either of these products and can someone guide me into the right direction. What is the minimum I will need to view HD footage and how much am I going to spend? I talked with a represenative for Blackmagic and she actually was unsure as to what I needed...that makes me very nervous about buying from them.
