Need help exporting project info to other program

The workflow for my project (a feature) was as follows: I'd place the video and audio clips (AVIand WAV respectively) on the timeline, sync them and then save it as, say, 1A-1. I did that with evey take. Then I'd bring each take (nested file) into a separate timeline and that would be the project. I didn't work with timecode. Now, the person who's gonna color-correct the movie wants me to get him the raw footage with an edl file but the edl file only reveals the vegas nested projects -- there's no info on the raw footage. Is there a way i can export an edl file which reveals all the info, digging back to before the clips were nested?

I was under the impression that Vegas EDL export files weren't 'industry standard' enough to use as input for most other programs - at least, that was true in previous versions of Vegas, possibly things have changed...

Could be worth creating a EDL from within one of the nested subprojects, i.e. it should contain the data re the raw files for that one shot, just to confirm whether it's even usable in the other system - if not, then the nesting is not actually the problem at all. That won't solve your problem, but would at least help confirm what the issue is :(

Mike, the person doing the color-correcting is using scratch...Clang, we already tried that and yes, the edl for the nested files, by themselves work.

The only way to create a continuous EDL for the entire project is by not using the nested projects. Copy/paste all of the projects into a single timeline.
