Need help Exporting NOW!

I have an assignment I need to turn in; and I'm using After Effects 7.0 Pro on a PC.

I will need to turn in my video project by email; but I need to export everything first. My question is, how do I squeeze the best quality out of the video by exporting to QUICKTIME format in Aftereffects, but have the quicktime file to be small enough to send through email (Gmail). I really want the best quality compression/exporting I could get in this format, but have it be small enough to send out; maybe I could zip it for the professor; although I'm not sure if his Mac has Winzip. Can anyone help? I'm new to this exporting thing.

Also, I don't want to export, then, find out the video is too big / too low quality; and then have to do it all over again.

Can someone guide me trhough the process?
 
I use the H264 QT codec at anywhere between med and high quality in full screen and get decent results for shorter clips. I'm not sure how long your assignment is, but you may need to scale it down to 360x240 as well.
 
I am trying that right now. But, I have always thought that it was a really high quality compression codec; so that would mean that it doesn't compress a lot; the file size may be too big to send on GMail.

My assignment is 45 seconds long.

I used Med. quality.

When they tell you to choose the "quality"; does BEST mean they compress it A LOT so that the file will be smaller; meaning the IMAGE quality is WORST? Or does choosing BEST mean that the image quality is best; so there is less compression (and bigger file size) ? THanks.

Oh, and Gmail's minimum send size is 10 megs. Not sure if the 45 second clip will match this.
