I'm renting the use of a local multiplex for an evening to premiere my film. What would be the BEST possible format (besides a film transfer) to give them to use for this? And can I export to that format in Adobe CS5?
You'll have to ask the theatre. The last time I was asked to encode for a theatre was in a 1080p, 60fps MJPEG format, but this was for a commercial. It depends on the setup used.
