Need help displaying timecode in Premiere...

I just shot a tape yesterday that I have now imported into Premiere. I need to export an AVI with timecode displayed, but can't seem to figure it out. I set the timecode at 01:00:00:00. In the camera menu,
the TC Mode was at DF
TCG was at REC RUN
FIRST REC TC was at PRESET

The timecode shows up when I play back on my one chip camera, so I know it's there. Anyway, I need a video file with timecode for logging purposes ASAP! If anyone can help, it'd be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Andrew

In PremPro 2 you simply place the AVI on a timeline.

On the track above place Transparent Video (that you create from the menu)
Apply the Timecode effect to the Transparent Video clip.

If you do not have PPVers 2 you wll need the DVDate plug in (which is great).

..or if you have an d earlier version of ppro but also have AEpro .. you can use AE if you have it to generate a layer with timecode and put it on a a track above the video layer and key out the black.

That seems to have worked, except that the timecode starts at 00:00:00:00, instead of 01:00:00:00. How do i get the timecode from the original tape to show on the video file? Do I simply advance my AVI file forward an hour in the timline to make it start at the correct time?
Thanks,
Andrew

No need to drag the clip an hour forward. You can reset the start time in the timeline to whatever you want it to be.

Sorry, my comp is down at the moment but a bit of a search will find this in the help file.
