So I shot my scenes so far in true 24p. I have a Canon HFS21,. And I Import my files into Pinnacle studio 14 and edit. They show up as 23.98, and I then render the scenes Into a MPEG-2 file....staying at the native frame rate. My problem is when I import that rendered MPEG 2, and burn a DVD, the resulting scene is a jittery mess. Edges move, and ghost, and wiggle, especially on letter or other straight edges, it is more noticable. I am positive it is the way That the DVD is getting encoded. But I am not sure what to do or what program to use to make the DVD correctly. I downloaded DVD Flick, and have a trial of DVD Architecht to try...is it a frame rate issue? Help much appreciated.
