Need HELP!!! Cinema 4d !! Please!!!

Whats up with that?!

Im running newest c4d on windows 7 64bit

Im trying to get GreyscaleGorilla's HDRI Light Kit to work.

I followed the tutorial and installed the one file in library folder.

and it shows up and all just doesnt show the nice global illumination and says im
missing plugins..

it isnt a hard fix for someone who knwos c4d well...

texture and gi problem.
 
I don't have R11 or this product but unless the instructions specifically state that the files should be installed in the 'library' folder, they install in the 'plugins' folder.
You need to restart C4D after dropping the files in.

If that doesn't work let me know as I'd have a couple questions.

ya doesnt make any sense to me, very easy to install but i keep gettin texture errors and
the Global Illum. errors.

Ill pay anyone who can help me fix this.

as bad as this is i paid $70 and it doesnt even work.

I don't have aim sn.

Are you using R11? I'll have to install the demo just so I can have a look at the folder layout.

I'm sure it just folder related. I've written C4D R10 plugins before so I'm somewhat familiar with them. Let me check the R11 layout.
I have to step out for 1/2 hr so hang in for a bit and I'll shout back.

I see it's not a plugin, it's a collection of objects.
It requires the Advanced Render Module and the Mograph Module. R11 or greater, PC & Mac compatible.

Do you have these modules? (I'm trying to narrow it down.)
 
Im almost 100% sure i have the AR module , not sure bout the mograph ill check.

are these expensive?

Yeah, on your menu bar you should see a menu called Mograph I think.
I don't have C4D on this PC at the moment.

The AR module just shows up in the your render settings. You'll have more options.
I think if you have Global Illumination available then you'de have AR.

I could install my C4D R10 here but I'll just leave that for now.

The pricing is around $300 a module if I remember. Depends on the module.

I'll send another PM with something I want you to try and maybe we can narrow down the problem.
