need help bringing out one color

i have a shot of an orange tree andi want to make just the oranges a harsh white. how do i bring out just one color ?

I can't remember right off hand but I do know its similar to having everthing in your shot black and white and then isolating one thing like a persons shirt or the person themselves, which would be the only thing in color or something like that. I read how to do it in my FCP Apple Training Series book but I have not actually tried it yet so I can't tell you how to do it. There are some plugins that will allow you to do it too. But through color correction you should be able to get it done right in FCP.

Expand 3 way color corrector filter and enable limit control at the bottom to just select the colro range you want to change.
