I just installed cs3 and everything seems to work fine except I can't hear any audio. not in the canvas or the timeline. I can see the levels and the waveform so I know there is audio. I've tested the files and I've tried numerous types of files that all have audio and they won't play in Premiere.
I've gathered from reading other forums that some settings need adjusted to get premiere to play through the desktop speakers. I've messed around with the playback settings and nothing I do seems to help.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
do I need to download a driver or something?
