Okay I'm trying to capture my footage from my dvx on sony vegas 8 pro but It keep saying I need to make more memory in my folder or something like that I was wondering what settings my sony vegas should be on where I can capture all my videos.

Oops

Yeah .. you're running out of space.

Either dump footy you no longer require or run down and get an external drive like Blaine mentioned; should be plug and play; make sure it's Firewire.

You can either transfer all of that old footy over or you can simply use this new drive for this project.

If you want to permanently remove the footy you put in there; then simply delete them.

If you want to keep the stuff, an Ex Drive is mandatory.

I'm on XP

But if you are talking about cleaning it up ?

Tools > Internet Options > Delete Temporary Files (pages images etc)

For removal of Software . Add Remove Programs under Control Panel

If literally wanting to find the media nad axe it and you're not sure where it all is ? Do a search for Media (All Video) and then Delete away

Also, check your trash and make sure that isn't to the rim with Gigs.

F*ck it I'm erasing everything. now I have 6.49 gb free of 113.

6.49 GB... or about 30 minutes of video. 15 minutes if you plan to edit and render it back out.

Go get an external hard drive. The largest you can afford.

You are correct about the minutes I guess I will be getting the external hard drive soon. Where are good places to buy them at?
