I am currently in the process of procuring a new tripod/head .. i also have a glidecam 2000.. i want both to have the same quick-release receptacle for fast switchovers. the problem is that the tripod/head i'll get will already have a qr plate - but this particular plate (libec ls38 most likely) does not have a mated receptacle that's sold separately so the only option i see right now is to get something like a bogen 577 .. err 2 of them.. seems that for QR stuff everyone sells plates but very few sell receptacles to mount onto other equipment like shoulder supports and glidecams/steadicams etc.. any advice?
