I was brought on board an independent production for my colorist work. They are wanting me to do pixel restoration work as well as the films color correction, which both I do all the time. Problem is that the editor used an older version of FCP 5.05 to edit. I use version 6.1.6. The editor is still doing the sound mixing while I am doing the CC and my problem is how to bring in an older file and work on it then give it back to him to finish his work. I thought that once a file gets upgraded it can't go backwards. Please help me. Thank you!!
