NEED crane and dolly for documentary.

Hi there,

in my upcoming documentary I am going to use a crane and a dolly.
Since I will travel a lot the equipment should be lightweight.

The crane should be about 12 feet long.
The dolly should also be about 12 feet long and I want to put it on the ground, on tripods or somewhere else.

I really like the ShuttlePod solution from KesslerCrane. It seems to be perfect for my needs.
But are the cranes good, too?

Are there any other alternatives?
Budget is about 2500 US.
Payload will be 8-10 lbs.

Thank you!

You will probably need a somewhat larger budget for a Kessler 8-12, before you are finished. Kessler delivers good value IMHO, and their stuff is well made. Remember you will need a heavy tripod and head to carry the weight, so you should consider the k-pod to go with; it is very HD. Light weight for travel is relative, one person can hump a Kessler kit around, but any decent crane is a load.
