Chapel Grove Films is producing the fantasy short film "The Silver Key", and we need some very special background and featured extras.
The story is set in the South in 1863. Although there are no battle scenes, we do need some Confederate soldiers in uniform.
For another scene, we need both men and women in formal party attire appropriate to the period.
We will be shooting on 3 weeknights in October, at 2 separate locations. The party guests will be at Stowe Manor in Belmont, NC. The Confederate soldiers will also be at Stowe, but will have an additional shooting night at Larkspur Farms in Lancaster, SC.
Our budget is tiny, so we can only provide meals, credit and copy. I know we're asking a lot. For what it's worth, this short film is intended to gin up interest among investors in a feature-length version of the movie -- plus its two sequels, "The Golden Locket" and "The Ruby Ring".
So please help us if you can. We would be truly grateful!
