Need back weight for 35mm Rig

I have a Letus and an Indirails XVsm.

I really like the rig but I would like a weight to add to the back, as it can get a bit front heavy with some of my longer lenses.

The rods are 15mm standard so just about any manufacturer could work. I have seen some that take battery bricks, but I am open for anything.

Keep in mind this rig ONLY COSTS 269.00 - so I would like a COST affective solution.


Any ideas?

I just zip tie about 10 pounds to the back of my rig. Go to your local sporting goods store and pick up some cheap weights for $5.

Stick some longer rails on it and a Zacuto lunchbox.

manfrotto has a 3 lb weight designed to clamp on the manfrotto boom. But it will work on your rig as well.
