Hey!

I am wanting to do an action short this summer about an assassin. I have a very low budget, and I am going to be renting the Panasonic DVX100A, and a lot of toys to go with it. Thing is, I cannot seem to come up with anything decent. I just know I want an assassin movie with a twist that you didn't see coming. 15-20 minutes in length. Please help me. And if you have an AMAZING idea, PM me.
 
... do you really think someone will let go of an amazing idea for someone anonymous online? With all due respect, the best way to come up with great ideas is to keep thinking... soldier on.
 
This is a good topic. I too have a movie that I want to film over the summer with my Sony Handycam. I want it to be about modern day pirates off of the coast of California. We'll be shooting in LA. The script needs to have atleast two car chases, 3 bombs, 4 plot twists, 3 major character deaths, a deadly virus that will kill the world, something that reinvents bullet-time, and needs to have the ability to be adapted for 30 minute slot television show.

Hey zach, I've got the perfect script for you. There are actually 5 plot twists if you count the prostitute who turns out to be... well, can't give it *all* away in a public thread. I'll PM you the details.

EDIT: Harrison Ford has shown interest in the prostitute role.... oh ****... that may have given away plot twist #5.
 
I knew he'd go for it. Maybe we can snag Michael Bay to direct? Do you have his number? I can't find my rolodex...

He plays "Young Jimmy"

Ford is playing "Old Jane" (on account of the 5th twist.)
 
Well since every1 has good ideas for zach because he was so specific, I can do that. Lemme know if that's what I need to do.

My lawyers will be contacting you both. I don't know how you got a hold of my feature screenplay "Attack of the Terrorist Transvestite Stuntmen Modern Day Pirate Whores" which also happens to be told episodically in four 30 minute chunks, but as I said my lawyers will be in touch.
 
Hey you guys, I got a great idea I've been working on it for a while. It has both movie potential as well as the possibility of being turned into some sort of TV series.

So get this guys, it's about this very lovely lady, you see. She lives with three very lovely girls. The girls, they all have blond hair, maybe you could even call it gold.

Now here's where it gets interesting, this lovely lady, she meets this man, we can just call him Brady for now, just to make things easier. He also has three boys.

Anyways, long story short, they hire a maid, maybe we can call her alice. They go to hawaii, hilarity/action/suspense/drama/93 plot twists/6 bombs/1 epic dogfight with battle cruisers ensues..

It's really high concept, trust me. PM me for the full length script, I'm willing to let it go for not too much.

I was joking but it is exactly what I'm doing. The whole short is really complicated with all the stuff thats in there and the twist at the end. So far when I explain it verbably, people say they get chills but now the challenge is to make that actually happen on the screen.
