Hello members. I am looking for a quick piece of advice....
This morning I received an email from a clearance assistant looking to gain permission to use exerts from my short documentary that I created a few years back. I have the rights to do what I want with it. All members of the crew and director signed it off to me (producer). And I did a bit of research into the company. And it seems that everyone is legit. And they have done some big name features films. Smurfs 2, and working on Taken 3.
They have asked if I can grant them permission to use the film, and what the terms would be. So I am looking to see what I should do? This has been my only film I made, and i just sent it to film festivals after it was completed.
Again, any advice would be grateful.
