Help!
My cardbus PCI reader doesn't see the P2. Am I missing a step somewhere?
I installed this PCI cardbus, with the required specs I gleaned from this forum, reading all the relevant messages.

Specifications
- PCI Specification Revision 2.2 compliant
- PC Card Standard Release 8.0 Specification compliant
Supports 16-bit (PCMCIA 2.1/JEIDA 4.2) and 32-bit -
(CardBus) PC card with 3.3V/5V operation
- Supports Hot Swapping
I got the driver off the net and installed that.
It shows up in the Windows hardware system in the control panel.
The P2 drivers are installed from the HVX disc.
Any help is appreciated.
I'm fully aware that you can use firewire/usb to pull p2 data off the camera, but I envision instances where your assistant might need to download to the computer while you're stll using the camera.
I'm also aware that the pcimcia laptops will take p2 data, but I'm trying to keep costs down... the cheaper laptops doesn't seem to have pcimcia.
