I'm looking at a new 27" iMac to run Premier on. It will have Thunderbolt. What exactly do I need to implement to get program video out to a consumer HD monitor which I'll hang on a wall.
Matrox and AJA have solutions with SDI, audio etc, but I'm going for simple here - at least for the meantime.
Frankly, I'm a bit confused. I just need monitoring on a larger screen. I know it won't be broadcast critical but viewing my program panel just isn't cutting it anymore.
Especially for my anchor client who is used to going into broadcast edit facilities.
What box do I need that will accept the thunderbolt output and take it HDMI out to a monitor?
Thanks
