Hello everybody,
I am going to shoot a short film for the Santa Monica College film production class next month in the LA area. The short is about a 40-50 year old woman (Cecile) who tries to seduce a delivery guy and later gets "busted" by her husband (Enrico).
I need to cast the roles of Cecile and Enrico.
Cecile: Spoiled woman who spends a lot of time with shopping. She pretends to be younger than she actually is which also reflects in her appearance. She doesn't need to work since Enrico pays for her exclusive lifestyle.
Enrico: Has an intimidating appearance. Is a typical macho. I had Antonio Banderas in mind when I was writing the part. (I would prefer somebody with black long hair).
About the shoot: It will be a 1-2 day shoot next month (May). I would prefer to shoot everything in one single day/night but this might result in a 16 hour shoot, so be prepared for working a loooong day. In addition I would like to discuss the script with the actors a couple days before the actual shoot. This would take a couple hours of an afternoon. Furthermore I might need the actors after the shoot for an ADR session if we experience troubles with the sound/dialog.
This is a no budget production so there is no payment. Food is provided turing the shoot. You will of course get screen credit and I will enter the short into festivals if it turns out good.
A little bit about myself: I am an international student and moved from Switzerland to LA last August to study at SMC and hopefully transfer to a four year University next year.
