Need a travel jib for F900

Check out the Vance-Jib. It could easily take that weight.
Not sure how small you need - but if you're traveling with an F900, I'm assuming you wouldn't mind the size.

Porta-Jib or EZFX. I've used the F900 and F350 and VariCam with both and own the EZFX with remote head. Do you need a remote head or are you planning to work off a tripod head?

I stuck a pretty hefty camera on a Libec minijib. It was about 10kg, and a stripped down F900 is about 8 max.

I used to use the Intel-A-jib which seemed pretty solid but was damn heavy and needed 150lbs of counter weight. I rented an EZFX jib for the first time 2 weeks ago and liked the portability. Today I'm using a porta jib traveler, Havnt flown it yet though. I was surprised so many like the EZFX jib but maybe I'm just used to the more solid looking intel-a-jib.
Size is an issue since I live in NYC and don't have a car.

I would like to consider a remote head but thought the EZFX was too small for F900 + remote head. Which head do you use and can you confirm it works with the F900?

What about the jimmy with cables?

Couple of years ago, I bought a Seven Jib compact XL to replace my crappy Glidecam CamCrane200. My main rental clients uses old heavy Betacams, and the Seven jib is very good at that. It can take 60lbs of camera/head, and with a F900, my guess you won't need more than 75lbs of counterweight. They were selling their demo on eBay, where I got it for about 930$. Here's their website:

Check the setup video. It's easy to work with and is very compact for transport. And cheaper than Porta-Jib.

As for the cable Jimmy, I've never used it, but I heard it does a great job if you don't have to work the zoom/focus at the same time as pan/tilt/boom.
