I'm looking for a sountrack I can use in a short I'm finishing up. I was going to use this one song but alas, copyright laws shot me down. I'm really bad at creating music so Acid isn't helping me much here. Check the site out if you might be able to help with this at www.thevalleymovie.com. The song in the trailer is the one I'm needing to replace. Thanks!

What exactly are you looking for? The song you have is Peace In The Valley right? But not the Elvis version. Are you looking for something just like that, or similar or what?

Thanks for replying. I'm looking for something with like an ambient track and some mournful music on top. It doesn't have to be anything too spectacular as it will be set behind a narrative track. I'd be happy to send a rough copy of the film so far if it would help. Thanks again.

i haven't looked at your trailer but a good place to start is always twistedtracks.com

that and try to get in touch with local musicians/bands in your area. they can be a tremendous resource and be very willing to help you out for free to get their music into a movie.

hey let me know if you still need the music.....i can compose for you.....check out briceman's 'A Price Too High'...i did the music for that

Another good site that I've used is shockwave-sound.com. They let you use a "branded" version for free for composition purposes, then you have to purchase the real version. But, this way you can hear the whole thing and see how it lines up with your project before you purchase it.

Their license costs are fairly reasonable too.
