Need a new travel bag

The Lowepro Slingshot 300 AW didn't stand up to my field testing. The zippers are of poor quality (warping and material from the bag kept getting caught) and the bag wasn't comfortable.

Is there a good messenger bag that'd hold a 5D with battery grip and a 24-70mm lens attached? I'd like to tote the 70-200mm lens and a couple of flashes, too.

I hope there's something out there.

Thanks.

hmmm, my Think Tank Digital Holster 20 is amazing. I am traveling in Europe and I carry it in my North Face backpack, like any other college student. When I need to be, it's inconspicuous but also functional.

When I carry my Think Tank bag alone, I love it. Great build quality, on par with my Tamrac 759 or maybe a bit better. I would recommend their bags overall.

I love the Think Tank bags, they're so well thought out and manufactured. I've got several for different uses/setups. I also have both the Slingshot 300 and 200 bags but I haven't noticed the issues you have.

Cheers,

I use the Lowepro Compu Day pack and its amazing for me. I do a lot of rugged outdoor shoots and it has held up. I can bring my laptop and everything.

F Stop Gear is really cool and different. Kinda stylish.

Maybe I'll see if I can warranty my Slingshot and add a Compu Day pack to the mix.

On a somewhat related question -- just because I don't like spamming the boards system with gear questions -- what lens and sensor cleaning kit should I buy for the 5D? I have one of those rocket air blowers, but that's basic.
